Which Body Armor Drink Is Best For Breastfeeding?

I know Body Armor drinks are very popular for breastfeeding moms because of their yummy flavors, coconut water content, and ability to help hydrate quickly.

But which one is best?  We tried them all and will share with you our favorite pick!

Disclaimer:  Body Armor drinks are not a magic pill for your milk supply.  It may help you produce a couple extra ounces, especially if you’re not well-hydrated to begin with. The absolute best (and non-negotiable) way to increase milk supply is to remove more milk, more frequently.

Which body armor drink is best for breastfeeding?

There are 2 types of Body Armor drinks. The OG and the Lyte version.  The original has regular sugar in it while the Lyte is sweetened with Stevia.

If you’re worried about how much sugar the regular version has, you can always cut it by mixing natural coconut water with the Body Armor. (and get bonus electrolytes!)

We tried all the flavors of Body Armor and our favorite was the Lyte Peach Mango!  But you have to be okay with things sweetened with Stevia in order to enjoy that flavor. The bonus of drinking the Lyte version is it has less calories as well. (only 20)

If you’re not sure which flavor or kind (OG vs Lyte), we recommend getting the sample pack!  You’ll get to try all 8 awesome Body Armor flavors to see which one you love most!

PS: If you struggle with sugar cravings and appetite control, Body Armour is not the best choice for you. Plain coconut water, or a protein powder like
Milk Dust is a much better choice.

Milk Dust Protein Powder has just a few grams of sugar, has ingredients to help boost milk supply, and even has ingredients to help curb sugar cravings.
