When to stop pumping at work

Answers:

Pumping at work can be a real challenge, and you may be looking forward to a time when you can start to decrease your pumping sessions.

We asked a bunch of moms when they stopped pumping at work, and here’s what they said:

“I stopped pumping at work when my 3rd was 20 months. He's currently 21 months. He latches when we get home and throughout the night. I can feel my milk coming in when I'm on my way to pick him up. Your body will regulate for the times it is needed.”

”I stopped pumping at 11 months as a “just enougher”, and was still able to nurse mornings, nights, and on demand during the weekends until he was 34 months old.”

”I stopped pumping the day my son turned 1 and he continued to nurse mornings, evenings, and nights (naps, too) until we weaned a few months before he turned 3.”

”I stopped pumping at 1 year. Don’t really know if it affected my supply honestly. I just didn’t stress about it after 1 year. He drank whole milk at meals and ate well and continued to nurse (just assume he was getting something 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣) until he turned 3.”
